Nestlé Crunch White

I originally intended to review the milk chocolate one first, but this was the only version available and so I got hold of it. The wrapper looks very unspectacular, it is colored in an expressionless light yellow and has its name on it, backed with a broken white line which signals the crunch. And so looks the bar.

The aroma of rich of milk and sweet white chocolate fills the air as soon as you open the wrapper. Hmm, yummy.
The bar is divided into two parts. The top consists mainly of plain white chocolate, while crispy rice cereals dominate the bottom half. If you turn the bar around, you can see the rice crisps as well. You can hear and feel the crunch while breaking it. Even though its design is pretty simple, I think it lives up to its name very well.

The chocolate is as expected rich of milk and creamy, but a little too sickly. It’s creamy but chrunchy at the same time. The rice crisps differ a little from the milky taste, but that’s alright. Still, this is not a high quality chocolate and it mainly contains sugar, which you can taste very well. I am usually not a huge fan of all those sickly sweet white chocolate versions, but there are only a handfull of really good produced white chocolate bars.

The texture is really nice. You can chew it and feel the whole crunchiness of the bar, from the beginning to the very end, or you can let the chocolate melt inside your mouth and chew the rice after you have enjoyed the sweet chocolate experience. The second method can get sickly though.
