Ritter Sport Hazelnut

This chocolate contains hazelnut pieces, more precisely, a whole bunch of them. There is a thicker plain milk chocolate top followed by a nut-chocolate mixture throughout the chocolate.
The smell is just awesome! Really nutty and rich of milk chocolate, but still the nuts are dominating! I like it, it is very tempting!

The chocolate is as usually very milky and creamy, sweet but still fitting to the nuts inside. Compared to some low budget chocolate bars the chocolate is pretty decent. It melts easily, but the smoothness of the plain chocolate is cut by the pieces of nuts inside the bar.

The nuts come in different sizes and there is hardly any space without any hazelnuts. A few nuts will remain in your mouth and “stick” to your teeth after chewing, what can get kind of annoying. This might not happen if there were bigger pieces of nut.

One might think this version could be similar to the almond version of Ritter Sport, but the taste is totally different. The hazelnut edition is slightly sweeter and of course the flavor of the nuts differs, and so does the shape of the pieces. The hazelnuts have a more compact shape; and personally I find them more comfortable to chew.

If you like it crunchy and chewy, this is what you like. This is also pretty good bar if you like nuts in pieces instead of whole nuts embedded in sweet milk chocolate. Decent chocolate treat, I enjoyed it!
